Pros: There's two sides -- one for control and one for speed. The control side is amazing for gaming but gets dirty real easy and can interfere with the accuracy of your mouse. The mouse pad on the control side is perfect for a laser mouse and precision gaming.Cons: Kind of nit-picking here.
The control side goes hand-in-hand with my Razer Diamondback mouse. The speed side is useless. There's a wrist pad that comes with it, which is great.
I've looked past them, but they might be a huge deal to others. I've used the Destructor pad previously and definitely prefer the eXactMat over it. The size is of no concern because bigger is better.
It's like having your mouse on just the desk itself because the cursor jitters a lot. Only two flaws, but nothing that will drive you nuts to make you want to return it.
no problems with running out of mouse pad, need relief from wrist fatigue, or control of mouse action, i love this exactmat combo
I checked out quite a few of the mousepads here at amazon and got a few friends opinion on the mousepads I was interested in. It comes with a rubber like wrist rest, which also keeps the mousepad in place. But I was looking for a mousepad with a smooth/rough side and a durable one. I had to upgrade my mousepad to match my new g9x (wired laser mouse), and there are alot of options to choose from. but not really a con since it gives me alot of mouse space.Overall a great mousepad from my experience, if you plan on buying this mouse pad make sure your desk/area is big enough for it by checking the specs size/add a few extra inches to it if you want to use the wrist rest. The rough side works well for precision but I can get as good precision with the smooth side as well.
for shooting games and for daily tasks.
So yeah I decided to give this pad a try.So far so good, works great with my logitech mouse laser g9x (wired laser mouse), reads it well and registers.
It is metal which makes it loud if you drop it but seems to be durable for now.
I wasn't to sure on what to look for in a mousepad.
The wrist rest is like gel and is comfortable.
never had a problem with this combo yet.
I use the smooth side the most.
This mouse pad has plenty of room to work with compared to a standard size pad.pros- great registry with g9x, plenty of space to work with, durable, both sides work great for its purpose (rough/smooth), comfortable wrist rest/useful to keep mouse pad in place( but not needed, optional), nice style.cons- a little to big for my desk, misjudge the mousepad size.
A pretty good price for a great product.
I ended up giving away this pad and bought a competitors which works much better with the Mamba. This pad is nice but it really doesnt function well with the Razer Mamba mouse. When you lift the mouse up and put it back down, it loses tracking for a split second, which is REALLY frustrating when you are gaming. If you have a laser mouse I would not recommend this item.
This "mouse pad" is great. I bought it for PC gaming originally, but I've found it mostly useful for its versatility rather than its precision. Because it contains a solid aluminum plate between the two textured sides, you don't need to be at a desk to use it.
